LONDON - Renowned Italian artist Boticelli’s painting ‘Birth of Venus’ has been recreated in the form of a collage of images in an effort to raise breast cancer awareness.

The picture has been titled ‘Everyone Is Art’ and features the faces of 1,096 men and women from all over Europe.

“Breast cancer touches women of all ages, from all nations and it is crucial that as many people as possible are encouraged to check themselves,” the Telegraph quoted Singer Alexandra Burke as saying.

The number 1,096 was chosen because this is the average number of women diagnosed with breast cancer in Europe each day.

The images were all uploaded to www.morethantalk.eu, a website created as a centre of support for people affected by breast cancer. (ANI)
