LONDON - Kate Moss’s agent Sarah Doukas has revealed how the supermodel’s income doubled after cocaine shame.

Critics wrote off the catwalk queen’s career when shocking photographs of her snorting coke hit headlines in 2005.

And now, agency boss Doukas has opened up about the scandal for the first time.

“Unfortunately all press is good press in this world. I had a strategic view of it. I just thought ‘She’ll be fine!’” News of the World quoted her as saying.

Sarah, founder of Storm Model Management and the woman who discovered Kate at 14, spoke out on Radio 4’s Desert Island Discs, to be broadcast today at 11.15am.

“Some of my great clients just said, ‘We’re in your capable hands. We’ll stick by Kate.’ And they did,” she told BBC presenter Kirsty Young.

Although several massive companies including Chanel and Burberry dropped the model, it was later revealed her annual profits went up from 2 million pounds to 4 million pounds.

“I spent a lot of time trying to reassure big clients. You keep calm and don’t have a knee-jerk reaction,” Sarah, 52, added. (ANI)
