Anjaana Anjaani

MUMBAI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- ‘Anjaana Anjaani’ the much awaited films starring two of the most sought after actors of Bollywood namely Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra hit the theaters yesterday and the response so far is mixed. The actors are getting rave reviews for their sizzling on screen chemistry and natural performances and the unusual storyline of the film is getting accolades from the viewers. The film has opened to nearly packed houses in North though in southern states its has proved to be a non starter and faces stiff competition from the Rajnikanth starer Robot which has opened to packed houses. Another matter to worry is the fact that ‘Dabangg’ is still getting good collection at the box office all over India. However, the film may gain from word of mouth publicity in the coming weeks.

The initial response to the film Anjaana Anjaani is mixed and the film was slated to be released earlier originally. The dreaded Ayodhya verdict prompted the producers of the film to postpone the release of the film. The film has good music but some of the viewers are of the opinion that the plot tends to be too sluggish and gets boring after a time. The film is likely to do well at the multiplexes where it has opened with above 70 to 8-0 percent collections. In abroad the film may do good business at the demand of Indian movies in foreign countries is quite high and films with average rating also do well abroad.

Anjaana Anjaani has the potential to become a hit despite the shoddy editing and long storyline. However, it has many contenders at the box office.
