Lopez, Tyler new ‘American Idol’ judges

NEW YORK - Latin singer Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler are the new judges of singing reality show “American Idol” and Lopez said she will look for someone as talented as Michael Jackson on the show.

“I’m looking for the next Michael Jackson. We’re looking for the best American Idol ever,” people.com quoted Lopez as saying, after host Ryan Seacrest introduced her at a press conference in Los Angeles.

The Aerosmith frontman, who will also be joining Lopez and singer Randy Jackson on the show as judge, said he feels “fabulous.”

“[It] feels like the perfect feathered nest. It’s being a part of something much bigger than yourself. I want to bring some rock to this roller coaster,” said Tyler.
