James Cameron to be honoured with Producers Guild award

LONDON - Director James Cameron is all set to receive the Producers Guild of America’s top prize for his contributions to show business.he Avatar and Titanic director has been named the latest recipient of the organisation’s Milestone Award.
The honour will be bestowed on Cameron at the PGA’s 22nd annual award show in Los Angeles next year (Jan11), reports the Daily Express.
Tom Cruise’s former business partner Paula Wagner, who is the chairperson of the 2011 PGA Awards, says, “James Cameron is an exceptionally talented producer… He has continued to change the film landscape with his ability to deliver groundbreaking masterpieces that present audiences and the industry with unrivalled beauty, originality and impact.”
Past recipients of the Milestone Award include Clint Eastwood, Walt Disney and Alfred Hitchcock. (ANI)
