NEW YORK - ‘Avatar’ director James Cameron is all set to turn Arnold Schwarzenegger action-comedy ‘True Lies’ into a TV series.

The 1994 movie dealt with a story of a family man, played by Arnold, who lives double life as a secret agent.

At the time of its release, it was the most expensive movie ever made, as was the case with Cameron’s later films ‘Titanic’ and ‘Avatar’.

According to the reports in Deadline.com, it is still ambiguous if the series will continue to follow Schwarzenegger’s character Harry Tasker with a different actor or reboot the story with a new protagonist.

Cameron and show writer Rene Echevarria are about to begin shopping the series to networks, reports the New York Post.

The Oscar winning director debuted into the television with Fox’s ‘Dark Angel’, a science fiction drama that starred Jessica Alba. (ANI)
