September 13, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): In a recent interview Aaron Johnson said that it is hypocritical of critics to blast the 13-year-old Chloe Moretz for swearing in the movie ‘Kick-Ass’. The actor said that if teenagers can listen to sexually charged music then there should be no uproar about them using profanity onscreen as well.

The 20-year-old actor also said that people should not take offence to the foul language used by his 13-year-old co-star Chloe Moretz because the movie came with an adult certification. Aaron further said that nowadays teenagers can access raunchy pop numbers through radio anytime they want so, profanity coming from a little girl’s mouth should not be deemed inexcusable.

He said “I mean, at least we put a certificate on our film. It’s hypocritical. The same parents that complain then allow their six-year old kids to listen to Rihanna on the school run. I have nothing against Rihanna but have you heard the lyrics?”

The 20-year old actor admitted that he thinks people should give more credit to Chloe for the work she did on the action comedy, in which she played the pre-teen superhero ‘Hit Girl’. During the interview, Aaron said that he was amazed to see someone so young act in such adrenaline charged action flick and pull it off with such brilliance.

Let’s hope Aaron’s tongue-lashing shuts up the critics once and for all.
