Karishma Tanna: From Television to Tollywood

September 11, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):Television actress Karishma Tanna, who is currently seen as a host of magic show titled ‘India’s Magic Star’ on Star One, is all set to try her luck in Tollywood.
Talking about her first film with TellyCafe.com, an energized Karishma said, “I’m doing a south film. It is a Kannada film and I am playing the lead role in it." Giving some insights about the film, she further added, “It is a love-suspense story”.
Karishma will soon also be seen as a contestant in the bitchy and full of gossip show, ‘Meethi Chhoorii No. 1′ on NDTV Imagine.
Apart from working in shows like Zara Nachke Dikha, Comedy Circus, and Jaane Pechane Se Yeh Ajnabi, the lanky lass also did her first bollywood film in 2005 titled Dosti starring Akshay Kumar and Booby Deol. She played Bobby Deol’s sister role in that movie.
Karishma has also been the face for many advertisements like Nirma, Lifebuoy, Stayfree, and others. Like many other TV stars, Karishma too, is in the race of climbing the ladder of success from advertisements to television and now in Tollywood.
