KJo Says Ash Has Not Banned Kat For Abhishek

September 9, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Filmmaker Karan Johar has come out in support of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who was rumored to have banned her husband Abhishek Bachchan from working with Katrina Kaif in ‘Dostana 2’. However, KJo has cleared the air saying that Ash has never put such ban and such claims are totally baseless and ridiculous. Johar said that the movie will start rolling next year.

Karan took the help of micro blogging site Twitter to make things clear. On his page Karan tweeted that ‘Dostana 2’ will start shooting early next year with the lead stars Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Katrina Kaif. He added that it is totally unnecessary to bring Aishwarya into this.

Tarun Mansukhani will be directing ‘Dostana 2’, which is a sequel to the 2008 blockbuster movie ‘Dostana’ starring Priyanka Chopra along with John and Abhishek.

The things started taking wrong turn when Katrina walked out of Abhishek Bachchan starrer ‘The Italian Job’ because of date problems. This reportedly angered Ash so much that she asked her hubby to move out of ‘Dostana 2’ as Katrina is starring opposite him. However, all these rumors have been stopped by KJo now.

Who will want to dig out truth if ‘Dostana 2’ actually starts rolling with its announced star cast!
