Actor Murali Passes Away

CHENNAI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Highly-acclaimed Tamil actor Murali breathed his last on Wednesday following a heart attack. The actor who is known to be associated with a number of successful flicks passed away at a medical facility in Chennai, his family sources have confirmed to the media. The family members of the deceased actor have revealed to the media that Murali died during the wee hours of Wednesday morning owing to a cardiac arrest. The noted Tamil actor, who was 46 years old at the time of his demise, is survived by his wife Shobha as well as a son and a daughter.

According to sources, Murali was immediately taken to a private hospital after he started complaining of severe chest pain. However, the doctors could not do much to save him as the actor was pronounced dead soon after arriving at the private hospital. The news of the untimely death of the celebrated actor has sent shock waves among his large number of fans as well as the Tamil film fraternity who are yet to come to terms with the fact the 46-year-old actor is no more.

Actor Murali made his debut in the Tamil film industry way back in the year 1984 with the Ameerjhan directed flick “Poovilangu.” Since then the actor has starred in a host of highly-acclaimed flicks such as “Idhayam,” “Pudu Vasantham,” “Sundara Travels,” “Porkalam,” to name a few. Throughout his acting career, the Tamil actor is known to have been part of at least 60 films. Since the news of Murali’s death has been reported, condolences have been pouring in from various quarters.
