August 30, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): As if the Academy Awards were not enough, Al Pacino grabbed an Emmy on Sunday night for his performance as Dr Jack Kevorkian in HBO’s ‘You don’t Know Jack’. Al Pacino was equally excited for his guest role in the Emmy Award winning comedy show ‘Modern Family’.

Talking to Access Hollywood’s Shawn Robinson, Pacino said that he is a fan of ‘Modern Family’ although he does not follow the show on a regular basis. Al Pacino mentioned that his friend Jesse Tyler Ferguson is also a part of the show so he is particularly interested in the show. Jesse plays the role of Mitchell Pritchett in the hilarious show.

Pacino said that it was his ‘Merchant of Venice’ Co-star Tyler, who had forced him to watch the show in the first place. Speaking about the comedy series, Al said that the show was hilarious and all the actors have done a good job. When Shaun asked if Al might be interested in doing a guest appearance on the show, the superstar said that it was quite possible in the near future.

Let’s hope that the creators of ‘Modern Family’ cash in on the opportunity right away and invite the actor for the guest role.
