LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- The August 11 season premiere of ‘LA Ink’ was a must watch for rock fans as Nikki Sixx made an appearance on the show. The present squeeze of Kat Von D is seen welcoming the star tattoo artist to his radio station with his co host Kasem. Kat Von D and Nikki Sixx are seen discussing Sixx Sense as well as the latest season of Kat Von D’s ‘LA Ink’.

Reports suggest that the future episodes of LA Ink will have more of Nikki Sixx as he will be seen getting a tattoo of Sixx Sense logo on himself by Kat Von D herself. Sixx Sense has broken grounds in radio since its launch in February by bringing in the biggest names in the rock industry. Considering that Nikki Sixx himself is the bassist of the Motley Crew, the radio show has not only catered to the fans who want to hear their favorite rocker’s interviews but also world premiered songs and albums by well established groups like Buckcherry, Drowning Pool and Slash himself. They have also hosted the announcement for the OZZFest this summer.

Nikki Sixx is also set to accompany the rest of the Motley Crew as they get ready to co-headline the OZZFest this year. This year’s line-up includes the legendary Ozzy Osbourne and also other big names in rock like Devil Driver and Nonpoint on the main stage. Kat Von D has been associated with Nikki Sixx for a long time and had split earlier this year. They again rekindled their romance a few months later and announced it on their Twitter pages and the radio.
