Jodie Fisher Regrets Mark Hurd’s Dismissal

SAN FRANCISCO (GaeaTimes.com)-Jodie Fisher of “Age of Love” fame, whose sexual harassment allegations forced the resignation of Hewlett-Packard CEO Mark Hurd said that she feels sorry that Mark Hurd lost his job. Mark Hurd resigned from his job on last Friday owing to Jodie Fisher’s complain against him. However, her identity was not revealed before, but Jodie Fisher, a female contractor and an actress came forward yesterday and released a statement through her attorney Gloria Allred, to a reputed media source where she said that she was surprised and saddened that Mark Hurd lost his job.

Jodie Fisher in her statement said that she was astonished and “saddened” that Mark Hurd lost his job because of her allegation. She mentioned that she never intended to do so. Jodie Fisher said that she never had any intimate relationship with the former CEO of HP and she first met him in 2007 when she was interviewed for a contractor job at the company. However, previously Jodie Fisher complained that Mark Hurd harassed her while doing the company’s marketing activities and after investigation HP found out that the former CEO filed inaccurate expense reports to conceal her identity. HP then accused him of falsifying expense reports to conceal a close relationship with Jodie Fisher.

Jodie Fisher said that at HP she was under contract to work with high level customer and executive summit events that take place in the country and also abroad. She also mentioned that she has resolved her claim with Mark Hurd privately without any legal proceedings. She then signed off saying that she does not wish to comment any further and refused to discuss details of the harassment claim.
