LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Those who love comedy flicks with a touch of adult innuendos can check out the newly released film ‘Dinner for Schmucks‘. It has the actors Steve Carell and Paul Rudd in the lead roles and they have given decent performances in the film. Steve Carell in particular steals the show. Paul Rudd essays the role of a mid level office executive who gives the highest priority to his career and to please his icy boss he does not mind going out of his ways either. So when his boss asks him to find an idiot for amusement for his dinner party he sets on the mission.

Needless to say the film is inspired by the well known French film named ‘The Dinner Game’. Paul Rudd comes across taxidermist Steve Carell, a man with a wacky sense of humor who loves mice. He gets picked by Paul Rudd as the much needed source of amusement for the dinner. This adds the twist to the plot and a chaotic journey begins. The funny situations in the film may remind one of the episodes of The Office of NBC. Steve Carell excels in portraying the odd man in wrong situations and the viewers go splits by his goofy acts. The other characters also do their part well and complement him.

Dinner for Schmucks‘ is not a comedy that you can see with the kids or all of the family members. The film contains a number of sexual jokes. The Spyglass Entertainment production directed by Jay Roach has got a rating of PG-13.
