“So You Think You Can Dance” Sees Double Elimination

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- “So You Think You Can Dance” is the popular dance reality series which airs on Fox channel on Wednesday and Thursday nights. The show is directed by Nigel Lythgoe and Matthew Diamond and it is one of the most entertaining and favorite shows of American audience. Last night the audience saw double elimination in the show which broke many hearts as their favorite contestants were shown the door by the judges. Nigel Lythgoe declared at the end of the show that Billy Bell and Jose Ruiz will have to leave show as the failed to impress the judges with their moves.

Last night’s “So You Think You Can Dance” episode opened with a strikingly unconventional dance number by the judge Mia Michaels and the audience liked the performance. The host Cat Deeley announced that Lauren Froderman is in good health but she missed her rehearsals owing to her dehydration problem, so she was out of the group number. The host announced the whooping amount of $ 250,000 for the winner of the competition who will be the first “dance athlete” and will be recognized by the brand Gatorade and will endorse it.

It was a tough situation for “So You Think You Can Dance” reality show’s judges to decide who would be eliminated at the end of the show as every performer gave in their best to prove their dancing prowess. Lauren Froderman did not perform and was said that she will have to perform if she comes in the bottom three. The other contestants Robert Roldan, Kent Boyd, Jose Ruiz, Adechike Torbert and Billy Bell performs to woo the heart of the judges. However, in the end Nigel Lythgoe while eliminating Billy Bell said that his “slightly androgynous style,” could not connect well with the American audience. Jose Ruiz also got eliminated for his weaker performance than others.
