LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Pamela Anderson’s latest PETA poster has been banned by her own country’s officials after the poster was found to be too sexist. The poster featured the star in a skimpy bikini with her body parts being marked as feet, leg, round, rump, ribs, breast and shoulder. The poster says that all animals have the same body parts and urges the public to go vegetarian. The poster will now be unveiled by PETA in a local restaurant where there is no authorization required.

Pamela Anderson has said in a statement that she is disappointed with Canada’s ‘puritanical’ approach. She added that a woman has the right to use her body for a political protest against the cruelty to cows and chickens. She also called Canada a progressive and edgy country and said that it was sad that such an ad was banned. She also gave example of other countries where women are asked to cover their whole bodies with a burqa and asked if that is where Canada is heading. A spokesperson for PETA echoed her sentiments and said that the city officials may have confused ’sexy’ with ’sexist’. The President of PETA stated that a woman should be allowed to use her own body in whichever way she wants without harming others. He also appreciated Pamela Anderson for being kind enough to be a part of the campaign.

Pamela Anderson is known for her active participation in the PETA campaigns. She has posed several times for the organization and headed the protest against KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) for the mistreatment of the chickens.
