“If You Really Knew Me” Aired On MTV

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA (GaeaTimes.com)- The first episode of the documentary series “If You Really Knew Me” was premiered last night on MTV at 11p.m. and the show received great appreciation from the audience of all age groups. The main objective of the show was that high schools should not break down in dozens of suspicious and hostile groups or cliques. The real life high school kids of Freedom High School participated on “Challenge Day” where the students from different cliques and subgroups came together and shared their feelings, secrets and talked about their lives.

If You Really Knew Me” Season 1 Episode 1 concentrated on the anti bullying program in schools. The 100 students of Freedom High School were asked the question and there were various answers that followed from “i used to cut myself” to many more. “If You Really Knew Me” is a 12 part documentary series where various high school issues will be discussed by the students from all irrespective of the barriers and “Challenge Day” hopes to tear down walls built by groups that do not mingle among themselves. The programme began with games and general introduction and later it took a serious turn when the students were asked to share their feelings.

If You Really Knew Me” also aims make the teens realize that their words and actions hurt their peers and their words matter to the people. The show is however compared to “The Breakfast Club” by MTV but the audience found it more serious owing to the serious issues of high school it deals with. The next episode focuses on cyber-bullying, the major problem among teens and it will be held on Anthony Wayne High School in Whitehouse in Ohio.
