Mel B patches up with Murphy

LONDON - Singer Melanie Brown and her ex-beau Eddie Murphy have put their bitter feud behind for the sake of their daughter.
The former Spice Girl, also known as Mel B, hit the headlines in 2006 after a brief fling with the “Beverly Hills Cop” star left her pregnant. After their split, Murphy snubbed Mel B saying he will not accept the child until a DNA test proved he was the biological father.
But the singer now insists that she and Murphy are on friendlier terms for the sake of the three-year-old child, reports contactmusic.com.
Mel B showed her support for Murphy last month at the premiere of “Shrek” movie by turning up for the event with Angel and her older daughter, Phoenix Chi.
“We went to ‘Shrek’ - we got invited by Angel’s father and we all went and were supportive and it was great family fun. It’s really cool. Everything’s like water under the bridge,” said Mel B.
