Knightley Harassment Case Dropped
By WENNSunday, June 6, 2010
A man arrested on suspicion of harassing actress KEIRA KNIGHTLEY has walked free from court - the case has been dropped because the star was unable to give evidence.
Marek Daniluk was taken into custody in February (10) after the Pirates of the Caribbean star told police she felt threatened by his regular presence outside London’s Comedy Theatre, where she had been performing in The Misanthrope.
He appeared at City of Westminster Magistrates’ Court earlier this year (10), where he pleaded not guilty to harassment.
On Friday (04Jun10) Daniluk was told the case was finished and he was allowed to walk free.
Knightley was reportedly given several possible dates to appear in court to testify, but was unavailable on each occasion, according to the Crown Prosecution Service.
