Salman Khan Offers Gyaan To Kratika

June 3, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):It’s been a long wait for Kratika Sengar to take over as the new Jhansi Ki Rani. However, it’s certainly worth the wait when you bump into a Salman Khan in the initial days of your shoot.
Sengar was taken by surprise when Salman Khan came to meet her on the sets of Jhansi Ki Rani at ND. Studios, Karjat. Khan was here for a shoot too.
“He’s been a complete sweetheart. We bumped into each other a couple of times just outside the set. He was very encouraging when he heard that I’m gearing up to play the role of Rani Lakshmi Bai. He even offered me tips on horse-riding and stunts. He also taught me how to communicate with the horse.” said Sengar.
So, did Mr.Khan’s tips enable her to speak with the horse?
“Basically, he told that I need to develop a rapport with the animal. Bijli now responds wonderfully well to my whispers. She runs like a bijli (lightning) too. She’s now able to understand my language; I’m trying hard to understand hers now. As for the stunts, I’m slowly learning how to use the sword. Currently, I end up with cuts to my fingers or hands. Hopefully, with the guidance from the action director and Salman’s tips, I can master this art soon,” replied our Jhansi Ki Rani.
Well, it won’t be long before we see blood on Lakshmi Bai’s sword.
