Lara Dutta attends IIFA extravaganza with Mahesh Bhupati (IIFA Diary)

COLOMBO - After attending the Filmfare awards together, actress Lara Dutta and tennis ace Mahesh Bhupathi gave another hint of their relationship by together attending the fashion extravaganza at the ongoing International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) weekend here.

The couple looked very much in love while walking the green carpet Thursday. While Lara looked ravishing in a black and white short dress, Mahesh was dressed in blue jeans and white shirt with a dark blue blazer.

The couple earlier denied reports of their affair, but their recent appearances together have cleared the air regarding their relationship.

Lara, riding high on the success of her recently released film “Housefull”, will be comparing at the IIFA Awards main night along with Riteish Deshmukh and Boman Irani. The event is being organized by Wizcraft.

Bipasha misses John at IIFA

Dusky beauty Bipasha Basu, who is present in Colombo, Sri Lanka, to attend the IIFA awards, revealed that she is missing the company of her beau, John Abraham.

Dressed in a golden short dress, while going for the fashion extravaganza during the IIFA weekend here Thursday, Bipasha was asked whether she is missing the Bachhcan family, a regular at the event, this year. To this the actress quickly responded that she misses her boyfriend more.

“I miss John. He is one person, whose company I miss the most here, not anyone else’s,” she said.

Bipasha, who walked the ramp in the look that she will be sporting in her forthcoming film “Lamha”, will also be performing at the awards night Saturday.

Sanjay Dutt felt nostalgic while filming “Lamha”

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, who is starring in Rahul Dholakia’s issue-based film “Lamha” said that he felt nostalgic when they went to shoot scenes in Kashmir.

“My father used to shoot for his films in Kashmir aand that time as a kid, I used to often accompany him, so that place was very close to my heart. When we were shooting for ‘Lamha’, I felt very nostalgic,” Sanjay told reporters here.

“Shooting in Kashmir was a wonderful experience. we got full support of the government and the people and the place is truly amazing,” he added.

Sanjay promoted “Lamha”, a film focusing on the travails of people in Kashmir, at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) weekend, that kickstarted Thursday.

The film also stars Bipasha Basu, Kunal Kapoor and Anupam Kher.
