LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- The Wednesday’s elimination show in American idol was just more than an episode in reality. The show also marked the Reality show debut of Canadian teen singing sensation Justin Bieber. The baby faced singer set the stage on fire with his blazing performance and his fans were screaming wildly all along. However, the episode also introduced Travis Garland a new singing sensation. He has got the backing of music impresario and celebrity blogger Perez Hilton. Perez Hilton introduced the singer and said that he also dances very well. He was in fact full of praise for Travis Garland and called him an authentic artist.

Perez Hilton spoke at length regarding how he found out Travis Garland and in the Wednesday episode of American Idol the singer performed ‘Believe’ his new track. He was spotted by Perez Hilton online a year back. Perez Hilton recalled that he first became aware of his talent when Travis Garland was reworking on a track by Justin Timberlake. He decided to meet the teen singer at that time and wanted to bring him to the limelight.

In the early days of his singing career, Travis Garland was a part of a boy band named NLT. Later he decided to go solo and luckily he was discovered online by Perez Hilton. Some people have already started comparing him to Justin Bieber but such a comparison would appear unfair since the Canadian singer came into limelight much earlier. Besides, Travis Garland is still taking baby steps into stardom and it will take some time before he becomes a favorite of the public and media.
