His production house Platinum Dunes which has remade some of the cult horror movies of Hollywood like ‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ and the recently released ‘A Nightmare On Elm Street’ has also faced flak for the same reason. However, no one can deny how popular and successful the Transformer movie franchisee has turned out to be. The latest movie in the series named ‘Transformers 3′ is in the making and it is hogging the limelight already. The film has come into headlines partly because the ouster of actress Megan Fox who acted in the earlier movies in the series. It is also being said that the twin autobots will not be seen in the third movie.

The filming of the movie ‘Transformers 3′, has started in Los Angeles and its director Michael Bay has given some updates on it in his website. The sequel to Transformers named Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen did good business at the box office and grossed $387 million overall but it was criticized for its stress on fights between robots and lack of human elements.

Whenever a director makes a sequel to a hit movie, the pressure on him and the cast increases twofold and ‘Transformers 3′ is not an exception.
