Betty White In “Saturday Night Live”

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Octogenarian comedienne Betty White made her debut appearance in Saturday Night Live. Along with her, the episode was also graced with the presence of all the other hosts of the show, past and present, who had appeared in the show in order to pay their respects to the new host, who is credited to have a sharp sense of humor even past eighty. Betty White’s appearance in the show was a refreshing breath of air in a show that was otherwise recently been somewhat sagging in character. In fact, many of the critics are of the opinion that it is, in fact, Betty White’s appearance that got things really going for the show, bringing back much of the life that had recently been missing.
Betty White appeared in the show after a lot of requests on the part of her fans, who wished to see her as the host of Saturday Night Live. Initially, no comments had been made on the issue, until it was declared that she would be hosting the My 8 episode of the show. In the show, she got to show the best side of her humor, although, just as she had promised earlier, there was no nudity on this particular episode of the show, something which drew a sigh of relief from many of the observers.
In the show, Betty White was present in every skit of the evening, and was given talking parts. The best part of the evening, though, was the theme song of Golden Girls, presented by the current and former cast members of the show, as part of a welcome.
