Pamela Anderson voted out of Dancing with the Stars

May 6, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Despite being praised by judges Pamela Anderson failed to get the votes of audience and got ousted of US television series Dancing With the Stars.

The results portion of the episode started with Singer Nicole Scherzinger and ESPN reporter Erin Andrews. Scherzinger was declared safe, but Andrews landed in the bottom two with Anderson.

Anderson said that ballroom dancing had given her discipline she never had and added that she is proud of the effort she has put into it. She said that the participation in the show was one of the best experiences of her life. David Whitewood, her professional partner, praised her dedication to dancing and described her as an amazing person to work with. Anderson’s departure from the show has left five celebrities in the show competing for the winner’s position which will be decided at the end of this month.

The results episode also included performances from Train and feature dancers from the Cirque du Soleil "Viva Elvis" show.
