Bret Michaels Hospital Condition Stable

San Francisco (GaeaTimes.com) - Bret Michaels was hospitalized on Thursday night with an intense headache, Doctors found that he was suffering from a subarachnoid hemorrhage. In common man’s term, he was bleeding from his brain stem. He was admitted on April 22, 2010 and after several CAT scans, MRIs and and angiogram, doctors decided to keep him in ICU. Several tests were done to determine the cause. The good news for his fans is that his condition is now stable. He is now conscious but still under medical supervision for 24 to 48 hours. According to the latest reports, he is now able to talk and doctors are hoping that he will be making a quick recovery as he has responded to the medicines pretty well.

A few days before, Michaels was rushed to hospital as he was suffering from intense stomach pain. It was later diagnosed to be appendix. He was admitted on April 12, 2010 and an emergency appendectomy was performed on him. He recovered quickly though his diabetic condition delayed the process a bit. His tours got postponed for his emergency operation and there is no information when the shows will be taking place. With his last brain haemorrhage it seems that the shows may be cancelled due to his unwell conditon.

Bret Michaels is now 47 years old. He is best known as the lead vocalist of the glam metal band Poison. Apart from his attachment to the band, he also has several solo albums. He also acted as a judge on the talent show Nashville Star and is now an contestant on NBC’s reality show Celebrity Apprentice. He also starred in the VH1 reality show Rock of Love with Bret Michaels and its sequels.
