Bullock to return Worst Actress Razzie after taking prototype award trophy

NEW YORK - Actress Sandra Bullock, who won the 2009 Worst Actress Razzie Award, is to return her award as she had accidentally taken a prototype of the trophy.
Bullock won the Worst Actress Razzie for her role in ‘All About Steve.’ccording to Eonline.com, the 45-year-old actress will now give back the award after she took the wrong one at the Golden Raspberry Awards ceremony in March.
Bullock had to take home the 5 million dollar trophy but accidentally took the wrong one.
Her representative Cheryl said that Bullock was never asked to return the trophy but she had read reports that they wanted it back.
“I contacted them to check the validity of the story and was only told then that we had been given the wrong award. We will be returning the Razzie to them shortly,” the New York Daily News quoted her representative as saying.
Creator of the Golden Raspberry Awards, John Wilson said that the award model had sentimental value to it. He asked Bullock to return the award privately but a British paper blew the whole thing out of proportion.
Bullock is the first actress to win an Oscar and a Razzie in the same weekend. (ANI)
