LAS VEGAS (GaeaTimes.com)- The 45th annual Academy of Country Music Awards 2010 which was held on Sunday, turned out to be a night to remember for country musical artist Miranda Lambert, who was honored with as many as three awards in the much awaited award ceremony. The 26 year old singer was one of the musical artists who ruled the roost during last night’s event.

Miranda Lambert had lots of reasons to celebrate during Sunday’s award ceremony as she grabbed one of the highest honors of the night when she was announced as the winner of the Album of the Year award for her third album “Revolution.” If that was not enough, the country singer also bagged the award of the top female artist, a recognition that supposedly came as quite a shock for the singer herself. At the same time, Miranda Lambert’s music video for the song ‘White Liar’ also enabled the musical artist to win the Video of the Year award. However, the multiple awards that she managed to bag was not the only reason why she managed to create a buzz in the Academy of Country Music Awards 2010. Along with Carrie Underwood, the singer performed a duet that was immensely enjoyed by the audiences.

While accepting the award for the best album of the year at the Academy of Country Music Awards 2010, Miranda Lambert thanked everyone for loving her music while also adding that music was the only thing that she lived for and it had completely transformed her life. The multiple awards bestowed on Miranda Lambert has left all her fans delighted.

Miranda is a great country singer, she sounds country. Carrie however is very commercial. No sound of her own. She has a voice but like I said she is commercial. And that dress or should i say shirt that she had on last night was awful. The camera crew you could tell didnt want to get too close. The whoohoo was showing. What happened to country music.
