LONDON - Gwyneth Paltrow and her mother, Blythe Danner, are set to share the stage for musical A Little Night Music, according to reports.

Paltrow, 37, and her mother Danner, 67, are rumored to replace Catherine Zeta Jones and Angela Lansbury, 84, in the Broadway musical.

Paltrow is currently working on a Hollywood film, Love Don’t Let Me Down; she plays the role of a country and western singer in it and performed number of songs for it, reports The Telegraph.

Paltrow, mum of two Apple, five, and Moses, four, had mentioned about her stage ambitions in the 2008, “I look forward to playing Blanche DuBois [in the play A Streetcar Named Desire] on stage someday, I’d really like to do a musical.”

Zeta-Jones and Lansbury are expected to leave the production after the Tony Awards in New York in June. (ANI)
