NEW DELHI - Bollywood star Salman Khan is the latest actor from tinsel town to have joined the micro-blogging site Twitter.

“Arbaaz ne kaha ke Tweet karna toh banta hai boss. Chalo now, whoever was being me, party over, baju hatto please (Arbaaz said that I must Tweet. So now whoever was being me, please move aside),” Salman said in his initial posts.

The actor was welcomed on Twitter by jewellery designer Farah Khan Ali who is amongst the most regular celebrities on the website.

“Hey guys please welcome the one and only superstar actor Salman Khan on Twitter @BeingSalmanKhan. Big shout to him,” Farah posted.

While a lot of Bollywood actors have joined Twitter, stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan, Aamir Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Sushmita Sen, et al, are yet to get bitten by the Twitter bug.

Assalamoalykum Bhai. hope u and ur family r fine by the grace of Almighty Allah, Salman Bhai i heared and seen so many times u did help to others Alhamdolillah.
Bhai i m married with 2 kids my Fa is retired Bank officer, mother is working in the hospital. means i m well educated and known family in our town Jabalpur near Bhopal. i m working in the Regional transport office. as a agent i m doing little good, but due to some problems i m in debts of rs 65 thousand. just an idea comes into my mind to ask help, so i m writing also donno know how u react but i ‘ll assure u dat i’ll Insha Allah Pray for you. dats only i can do, i cannot ask my parents to help me bcoz i cant in d situation. i waste so much money. please help me if u CAN.
