LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- On Tuesday, April 6, 2010 “Dancing with the Stars” had its second elimination round and though many had guessed from before that it was time for the 80 year-old former astronaut to leave the show, it in no way deterred the viewers of the show. The ABC’s show had been able to become the most watched show on Television and had even reportedly surpassed the viewership of the “American Idol” Season 9 during one episode. The “Dancing with the Stars” Tuesday night elimination episode witnessed Buzz Aldrin along with his dancing partner Ashly Costa voted out of the show. The episode was able to hold the attention of the viewers.

Buzz Aldrin though had made his country proud with his contribution to the moon mission decades ago, his dancing endeavor proved disastrous. In all three weeks that the pair performed in “Dancing with the Stars” they have always lingered at the bottom. The couple had on Monday night performed waltz which was much below the standard and earned the pair a poor 13 points out of the total 30.

On Tuesday night, as the couple reached the bottom two and then was declared out of the show, Ashly Costa told Buzz Aldrin that she is proud of him. Buzz Aldrin joked that though he had never thought in his life that he would ever walk on the moon, he had also never imagined that he would dance in front of the camera in his life. He said that he had participated in “Dancing with the Stars” Season 10 with an aim to get people interest in the field of space science and also to honor “elder geezers” like him.

I agree that Kate can’t dance, but I don’t see the need to trash her. Obviously, it was both Kate and Jon that failed the marriage. Let it go. I don’t think their kids are the only ones being taken care of by a nanny. This show won’t last forever.
