LADY GAGA has stormed the U.K. music charts - taking the number one spot in both the single and album rundowns.

The Poker Face hitmaker’s collaboration with Beyonce, Telephone, climbed 11 places in the singles chart after the controversial nine-and-a-half minute video for the song was released earlier this month (11Mar10).

Meanwhile, Gaga’s album The Fame rose four places to land the top British album slot.

Elsewhere in the singles chart, Tinie Tempah’s Pass Out dropped to second place, Rihanna took number three with Rude Boy, followed by Justin Bieber with Baby and Ellie Goulding with Starry Eyed.

In the album chart, the Glee cast’s soundtrack took the number two slot, with Boyzone’s Brother at three. Gorillaz album Plastic Beach and Alicia Keys’ The Element Of Freedom rounded out the top five.
