Montag Wants To Make A Splash With Mermaid Movie Remake

Reality TV star HEIDI MONTAG is begging moviemaker RON HOWARD to remake mermaid movie SPLASH - because she wants to play DARYL HANNAH’s role.
The Hills star, who is about to make her big screen debut in Adam Sandler comedy Just Go With It, has always been a big fan of the 1984 film, which also featured a young Tom Hanks - and she thinks she’d be a perfect mermaid.
Montag says, “Splash is one of my favourites… I wanna do the remake; I wanna be the mermaid. I think I couple play her pretty well.”
The TV star has revealed she approached Howard with the idea when they teamed up recently to make a FunnyOrDie.com online skit about plastic surgery.
