LONDON - Canadian film director James Cameron is said to have boosted the morale of U.S. troops in Bahrain by staging a special screening of ‘Avatar’ for them.

Cameron, 55, along with Sigourney Weaver, 60, Stephen Lang, 57, and Michelle Rodriguez, 31, jetted to the island nation in January (10) to showcase their award-winning film at a military base and aboard two battleships.

The director’s ex-Marine brother, John D. Cameron, was thrilled with his sibling’s morale-boosting visit.

“Showing Avatar to the troops was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. To do something for the men and women who serve our country was a great privilege,” the Daily Express quoted him as telling the New York Post. (ANI)
