NEW YORK - Timbaland was left facing disappointment after his efforts to get a closed store to open failed in Las Vegas.

The Grammy award-winning singer arrived in Sin City at Haze nightclub at the Aria where he was due to perform.

The 38-year-old was apparently planning to shop at the new Louis Vuitton store and sent aides to hunt for a manager who would raise the shutters for him ahead of his show.

“They were calling everyone as if they were handling a national emergency,” the New York Post quoted a spy as saying.

The attempts proved futile and the rapper had to reportedly make do with a sweater from his suitcase in front of the audience including stunning actress Eliza Dushku and retired basketball player Rick Fox. (ANI)
