The celebrities include: Bhimsen Joshi, tabla maestros Zakir Hussain, Allah Rakha, sitar maestro Ravi Shankarm, Balamurali Krishna, badminton player Prakash Padukone, cricketer Narendra Hirwani, Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan, Jitendra, Mithun Chakraborty, Kamal Hassan, queen of music Lata Mangeshkar, actress Sharmila Tagore, Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar, Tanuja, Waheeda Rehman and Hema Malini.
After the Twenty- Two years, Arti and Kailash Surendranath brought the new version of the song as ‘Phir Mile Sur’. Amitabh Bachchan launched the new edition at Taj Hotel in Mumbai. Interestingly, the megastar has featured in the both edition of ‘Mile Sur Mera Tumhara’.
Sixty known celebrities are appearing in the 2010 version of ‘Mile Sur Mera Tumhara’. Some of them are Amitabh Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Deepika Padukone, Juhi Chawla, Shahid Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Salman Khan, bollywood badsah Shahrukh Khan, Shilpa Shetty, singer Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghosal & many others.

The New Version is not much greater than old one, The New version is completely looking like commercial ad made with lots of bollywood actors.. because I feel that there is no cricketer like sunil, kapil, sachin, dravid, ganguly and no vishwanathan anand, no hampi, no sania, no comedian brahmanandam(Guinness Holder), no hrithik roshan, no laradatta, no dhanraj pillai, no abdul kalam, no rama naidu, no asha bosle, no susheela, no prabhudeva, no ilayaraja, no shankar, no rajanikanth, no mammutti, no vaypeyi, no anil/mukesh ambani. no laxmi mittal, Ufff..a big list is pending.. I think my opinion is right, these people must be there in new video.. bcoz even new actors like ranbir kapoor, shahid kapoor and deepika padukone took place… |

watched the new “mile sur mera thumhaara”. i’m a keralite and i really missed our great actor mohan lal in that….He really deserves a part in that song that more than our another actor Mammootty who has acted in it. Mohan lal is not only is an actor now.He’s a Lieutenant Colonel . |
