Shields ‘fantasised’ about MJ jumping out of coffin during his memorial

LONDON - American actress Brooke Shields has revealed that she was shaking badly during her speech at late King of Pop Michael Jackson’s memorial, as she was imagining he would jump out of his coffin and perform a concert.
Shields, 44, had dated Jackson in her teens, and she was one of the many celebrities who paid tribute to the King of Pop at his Los Angeles send-off in July last year.
The actress, who had paid a tear-filled tribute to the Thriller hitmaker, has now revealed that the tears were not only for losing a friend, but also because she could not stop fantasising about him jumping out of his coffin.
“Did you see me shaking? They didn’t tell us that the coffin was going to be there,” the Daily Express quoted her as telling Access Hollywood.
“I thought - because there was a fantasy moment in my head - that he was going to jump out and start the concert.
“I felt honoured to be a part of it. I hope I did a good job. I tried,” she added. (ANI)
