MELBOURNE - Australian actor Hugh Jackman will be making his first TV appearance on a regular program in children’s show ‘Sesame Street’.

Jackman, 41, will feature in the program’s 40th season, which premieres in Australia on ABC For Kids on February 1, reports the Daily Telegraph.

The program, which is a star-studded series, includes appearances by First Lady Michelle Obama, Sex And The City actress Sarah Jessica Parker, NBA basketball player Kobe Bryant and Lost’s Matthew Fox.

The actor will pay a visit to Big Bird, Elmo, Oscar the Grouch and the rest of the Sesame Street gang when he presents “concentrate”, the episode’s “Word On The Street”.

Jackman’s participation in the program follows his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, teaming up with Elmo to raise awareness about adoption on the program in November last year. (ANI)
