Music launch of Gautham

Produced by Synergy Creations, the music launch of Gautham was recently held in Bangalore. The flick marks the directorial debut of Rajiv K. Prasad, son of noted cameraman R.N.K. Prasad. Music album was released by well known producer Rockline Venkatesh. Prem Kumar is playing the main lead. The film also has Ananth Nag, Shivaramanna, Kokila Mohan, Vinayaprasad, Sudharani, Premkumar, Sara and Kausalya in important roles. Music director Gurukiran was all praise for director Rajiv Prasad and said that he is a wonderful director. Bhavani IPS completes shooting

Shooting of ‘Bhavani IPS’ directed and produced by G Kicha in association with M Shagul Hameed on the banner of K Films International with Sneha playing the title role was completed recently. Speaking on the occasion, cameraman K Bhupati says, ‘I am sure that the film would earn me a good name as an efficient technician on the lines of ‘Antahpuram’ earlier. Director Kicha would also earn a good name and become very familiar to the Telugu audiences. We struggled a lot in bringing out the film technically.’ Director cum producer says, ‘This is the first ever film I directed in Telugu language. Sneha is playing the role of an IPS Officer. It is a totally different character when compared to her earlier film career. It is a never before role for her. We shot for about 48 days in and around Hyderabad. There are a total of five songs and Dina gave melodious tunes to all of them. We are planning to launch the audio in the second week of May and release the film in the first week of June.’ Kota Srinivasa Rao, Brahmanandam, Sampat Raj, Ponnambalam, Raj Kapoor, Izhavarasu, Aryan and others are in the cast. Writer-director Anees Bazmee was the last director, the late Feroz Khan worked under. Speaking on the occasion, the producer says, ‘We will continue the shooting without any break from now onwards and it would continue till May 15. We planned to shoot the film in Karamchedu, Film City, Pollachi and Hyderabad.’ Director says, ‘In ‘Chaitram’ the plants start growing. Similarly the love story in our film begins in the same month and grows. We have winter, summer and rainy season. Likewise, our love story will have three stages like school days, college days and marriage. Madhu inaugurated Malappuram film festival

Veteran Malayalam actor Madhu inaugurated the 70th International Film Festival of Malappuram at the DTPC Auditorium, Kottakunnu on 21st of February.
