LOS ANGELES - “Avatar” actor Sam Worthington says that director James Cameron has changed his life forever by giving him a role in the film.

“Avatar”, which released in theaters last week, has become a huge hit worldwide making Worthington an overnight star.

I was living in my car before I signed up for ‘Avatar’. Jim has changed my life. I am extremely proud of being a part of the film and very, very thankful to Jim for giving me this opportunity,” the actor said in a press statement.
