Taylor Swift named Entertainer of the Year

WASHINGTON - Country singer Taylor Swift dominated the Country Music Association Awards by winning four awards, including the Entertainer of the Year.

The 19-year-old songtress broke into tears while receiving the top prize.

The singer won in every category she was nominated in, including Female Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year for Fearless and Music Video of the Year for Love Story.

“Every single person in that category let me open up for them this year. Thank you all so much,” Contactmusic quoted teary Swift as saying.

Show host Brad Paisley picked up two trophies to add to his mantelpiece, including his third consecutive Male Vocalist of the Year.

Entertainer of the Year: Taylor Swift

Single of the Year: I Run to You - Lady Antebellum

Album of the Year: Fearless - Taylor Swift

Song of the Year: In Color - Jamey Johnson, Lee Thomas Miller, James Otto

Female Vocalist of the Year: Taylor Swift

Male Vocalist of the Year: Brad Paisley

Vocal Group of the Year: Lady Antebellum

Vocal Duo of the Year: Sugarland

Musical Event of the Year: Start a Band - Brad Paisley (duet with Keith Urban)

Musician of the Year: MAC MCAnally

Music Video of the Year: Love Story - Taylor Swift
