LAHORE - The release of Pakistani film “Chana Suchi Muchi”, which took four years to make, has been delayed due to the string of terror attacks across the country, its director has said.

Producer and director Ijaz Bajwa Tuesday said at a crowded press conference here that the release of his much-awaited first Punjabi effort “Chana Suchi Muchi” has been postponed.

The film’s cast includes Baber Ali, Moamar Rana, Saima, Hina Shaheen and Shafqat Cheema.

Bajwa said he was postponing the film’s release on Eid Ul Azha, in the wake of the prevailing circumstances, The News reported Wednesday.

He said he was compelled to postpone the release of his movie in Pakistani cinema halls until there was peace in the country again.

He said the movie was good family entertainment.

Baber Ali said in the prevailing atmosphere of terrorism and insecurity, it was a good decision to postpone the release of the film. However, he hoped and prayed that the things would be back to normal soon.
