Rihanna ‘brown Restraining Order Is Unnecessary’

RIHANNA cannot understand why a Los Angeles judge ordered her ex-boyfriend CHRIS BROWN to keep his distance from the R&B star after he pleaded guilty to attacking her, branding the restraining order “unnecessary”.

The Umbrella hitmaker was badly beaten up in February (09) when a heated argument between the couple escalated into violence.

Brown was sentenced to five years’ probation in August (09) and ordered to stay away from Rihanna as a result of the incident.

But the Bajan beauty insists the court order only serves to complicate her work schedule, because she constantly has to take into consideration her ex’s whereabouts.

In a candid interview with U.S. newswoman Diane Sawyer, she says, “I did not want that because it was unnecessary, really.

“And I didn’t want it to be interrupting my work. Like if I went to an event, I’d have to think, ‘Oh my gosh, I’d have to stay 10 yards away from him.’ It’s a spectacle, it’s too much, it just didn’t make sense to me.”

The interview aired in full on Friday night (06Nov09).
