MELBOURNE - Kristen Stewart has Australian roots and she certainly proves it with her taste for food.

The Twilight star’s mother, Jules Mann-Stewart is a script supervisor born in Sydney and raised in Maroochydore, Queensland.

The 19-year-old actress has revealed that she has quite a vested interest in Australia.

She also confessed her liking for an Australian food.

“I actually don’t mind Vegemite…I know most Americans can’t stand the smell, taste or look of it but I like it,” News.au.com quoted her, as saying.

But that is not all. Noosa Heads, the coastal town in Queensland is one of her favourite holiday spots in the world and she reveals that this was where she learnt to ride a surfboat.

Kristen is so much in love with the heritage Down Under that she has even christened her border collie, Oz. (ANI)
