Megan Fox named best sci-fi actress at Spike TV Scream 2009 festival

LONDON - Megan Fox has been confirmed as the queen of science fiction after being voted as the best sci-fi actress at the Spike TV Scream 2009 festival.

The event that took place at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles recognized performances in the genre of sci-fi, horror, fantasy and comic-inspired films and TV shows.

Fox landed with the prize for her role in ‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,’ the Daily Star reports.

The movie also received an award for special effects, apart from Isabel Lucas winning the breakout performance trophy for her role as a seductive, shape-shifting robot.

Also, vampire movie ‘Twilight’ scooped four awards including best fantasy film, breakout performance for Taylor Lautner and best fantasy actors for stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.

Hollywood stars Tobey Maguire, Jessica Alba, Kate Bosworth, Harrison Ford, Justin Long and Christina Ricci were present at the event to hand the awards. (ANI)
