Beyonce gets bountiful at MTV Video Music Awards

Sept 14 (IBNS) If Kanye West did his bit interrupting the awards night

in the Video Music awards in New York, Beyonce Knowles rubbed the balm
on some wounded egos with her magnanimity and bold nature.

While accepting the Moonman for the video of the year, Knowles did
play her part to perfection inviting Swift to the stage to complete
her speech that was interrupted by West.

The MTV Video Music Awards are known for their whacky approach, but
the tone was set too far when West arrived the red carpet binging from
his bottle of Hennessy.

The signals being loud and clear, the unexpected was waiting to happen
and it did not miss the script either. West stormed the stage when the
best Female Video award was being handed over to Taylor Swift, grabbed
her microphone and announced, “Beyonce had one of the greatest videos
of all time.”

A smiling Swift said, “Maybe we can try this again. I thank all my
fans on Twitter and MySpace and everyone who came out to my shows this
summer.”

The two winners then hugged each other and left the stage chatting
away in each other’s company. Though the Kanye event drew a lot of
jeers from the fans all through the night, the Beyonce effect did
leave a positive feeling after all.
