blake-fielder-civilLONDON - Blake Fielder-Civil, Amy Winehouse’s recently divorced husband, has reportedly demanded 6 million pounds as settlement amount.

He has apparently justified his demand by saying that he inspired the Grammy Award winner singer’s huge album ‘Back To Black…’ by cheating on her.

Fielder-Civil had cheated on Amy with his ex-girlfriend, which led to her writing lyrics based on the break-up for her album.

“Amy did write Back To Black when Blake left her, but why on earth should he be getting a dime for making her feel so bad?” the News of the World quoted one of Amy’s friend as saying.

The pal said: “She was at her lowest ebb when she wrote that album. Her boyfriend had left her for another woman and she poured her heart and soul into the writing process.

“It’s like saying that the man who writes a book about his murdered wife should give the murderer some of the profits.

“It’s an absolutely ridiculous request.”

However, Blake has a six-week time to make a claim, negotiate and come to a final settlement as per the court’s order.

The singer, though, is not ready to concede to his demand.

The friend added: “The judge has given the Decree Nisi and the Decree Absolute will follow in six weeks.

“Blake has to make a claim before that but he has made it clear to Amy privately he wants millions. She believes she’s right and Blake has no real case for a stake at her money.” (ANI)
