WASHINGTON - Ryan O’Neal and Farrah Fawcett had planned special costumes to wear at their wedding before the late actress passed away on Thursday.

Fawcett died aged 62 at Saint John’s Hospital in Santa Monica, California, after losing a two-and-a-half year battle with anal cancer.

The former Charlie’s Angels star accepted her long-time partner’s proposal in the weeks leading up to her death and the pair had hoped to wed as soon as her health would allow her to attend a ceremony and say “I do”.

O’Neal had made the revelation about their wedding plans during an interview with American broadcaster Barbara Walters shortly before Fawcett’s death.

“We will (marry). I’ve already got my costume ready. (I’ll dress) like a gigolo, with a thin moustache and slicked back hair. We have fun and tease each other about it,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying. (ANI)
