Bendu Apparao completes schedule The latest schedule of ‘Bendu Apparao, RMP’ directed by EVV Satyanarayana and produced by Dr D Ramanaidu on the banner of Suresh Productions, with ‘Allari’ Naresh as hero, Kamna Jethmalani and Meghana in the lead. Producer says, ‘The present schedule was held at Konaseema. We shot the film at various locales including EVV’s native place Korumamidi, Dosakayalapalli, Dommeru, Togummi, Gutala, Rajahmundry and Dowlaiswaram, involving all the lead cast. We shot many important scenes in these places. Before this schedule, we canned three songs abroad. Director EVV, hero Naresh and all the other unit members are working hard to make the film a big hit. The film is coming out as a beautiful entertainer and we are very fortunate that all characters had got apt artistes. Director Arunachalam says, ‘In the present day society, it has become a problem for many youth to get married instead of getting a good job. Our film deals with one such youth. Rajkiran gave fantastic tunes to all the songs and we are sure that the audio would enthrall the audiences.’ Producer Prabhakar says, ‘Our film completed the first schedule recently. So far, we have completed canning of a song besides 30 per cent talkie. However, she had become busy with other language films like Kannada. Her recent film ‘Karnataka Kiran Bedi’, directed by N Om Prakash Rao, is being dubbed into Telugu as ‘Andhra Kiran Bedi’ and is getting released very soon. Speaking on the occasion, Malasri says, ‘I played chivalrous and romantic heroine in many Telugu films. But for Kannadigas, I am well known as an action heroine. I played as police officer in one of my recent films and Kiran Bedi would be the name which is inspiring for woman police officers. So we chose that name as our title, but it has nothing to do with her. I am also interested in doing Telugu films if I get interesting characters even now. Presently, the film is busy in re-recording works. Director Kiran Palla says, ‘The film is being made with hotel management in its backdrop. Hence we titled the film ‘Allam Vellulli’. The film is basically a triangular love story and a 20-minute graphic would be a special attraction in the film. There are seven songs and music director Snigdha gave melodious tunes to all of them. We are planning to launch the audio during the second half of June.’ Ahuti Prasad, Dharmavarapu Subrhamanyam, Krishna Bhagawan, Melkote, Samir, Sana, Surekhavani, Master Bharat and others are in the cast. Lyrics are by Bandi Satyam and Avinash, cinematography is by Krish, while story, screenplay and direction are by Kiran Palla. Kavyas Diary releasing tomorrow Charmme, Manjula and Sashank are playing the lead in ‘Kavya’s Diary’ produced by Sanjay Swaroop on the banner of Indira Productions Pvt Ltd. The film is getting ready for release on June 5. Karuna Prakash is making his debut as director while Manu Rameshan is being introduced as music director through this film. Manjula says, ‘Almost all the scenes in the film are very near to nativity and at the same time, it will have good commercial values. It is basically a thriller, but could be watched by the entire family by sitting together. Charmme, who had earned a good name as an artiste who portrayed different roles, once again appear in a surprising character. I too did a role in the film and that character gave me immense satisfaction as an artiste. Though all the songs are melody based, the tunes would be different from routine. Already, the audio had become very popular among the audiences. The film as a whole would leave a good experience to the audiences and we are confident that the image of our banner would grow more.’ Jagadguru Sri Shirdi Saibaba ready for releaseShooting and other post-production formalities including DTS mixing were complete for ‘Jagadguru Sri Shirdi Saibaba’ directed by G Ramakrishna and produced by BV Reddy on the banner SRR Creations with BV Reddy himself playing the title role. Speaking on the occasion, director says, ‘We portrayed the minute details hitherto not known to the regular public about Shirdi Sai Baba, right from his childhood till he goes into Samadhi. The audience who always welcome novelty, would definitely make our film a hit as our film had several details never came on the Telugu screen.’ Producer says, ‘We are making efforts to release the film in the third week of June.’ Suman, Sivakrishna, Nagababu, Narayana Rao, Brahmaji, Ramaprabha, Sivaparvathi, Ramireddy, Raghunatha Reddy, Chittibabu, Gundu Hanumanta Rao, Junior Relangi, Siva Satyanarayana and others are in the cast. Yevaraina Yepudaina audio launchedThe audio of ‘Yevaraina… Yepudaina…’ (Premalo Padochu) produced by M Saravanan, M Guhan, Aruna and Aparna on the banner of AVM Productions introducing Marthand K Shankar as director with Varun Sandesh and Vimala Raman in the lead was launched at a function in Hyderabad recently. Prabhas, Gopichand jointly unveiled the audio CDs and gave away the first copy to senior producer Dr D Ramanaidu and A Ramesh Prasad of Prasad Labs. Later Dil Raju released the audiocassettes and handed over the first cassette another producer D Sureshbabu. Speaking on the occasion, Dil Raju says, ‘Varun Sandesh would surely complete a hattrick with this film. I personally chose to distribute the film in Nizam area, after watching the film. Produder Saravanan says, ‘The story of the film was liked by three generations of our family and that was the reason we came forward to produce the film. The director showed good prowess in bringing out the film.’ Responding to the compliment, the director says, ‘I am fortunate to make my debut through a prestigious banner. Manisharma gave melodious tunes to all the six songs in the film.’ Aditya Music is marketing the audio.
Raju-Maharaju audio released The audio of ‘Raju-Maharaju’ with Mohanbabu as the main lead, Sharwanand as hero, Survin Chawla and Tashu Kaushik as heroines was launched at a glittering function recently. Directed by Durga Shankarnath, the film is being produced by Pathikonda Kumaraswamy on the banner of Kumaraswamy Productions. Popular character actor Jayasudha unveiled the audio and handed over the first cassette to Manoj. Later, the audio CDs were unveiled by SS Rajamouli and trailers by Ram. Chakri scored music for the movie and Aditya Music is marketing the audio.Bendu Appa Rao RMP Shooting of ‘Bendu Appa Rao RMP’ directed by EVV Satyanarayana and produced by Dr D Ramanaidu on the banner of Suresh Productions with Allari Naresh, Kamna Jethmalani and Meghana in the lead is progressing at a fast pace after its launch on April 2. Three of the songs in the film were recently choreographed in the beautiful locales of Italy, Germany, Netherlands and Austria and the unit recently returned from abroad trip. Giving details, the director says, ‘It is a complete comedy entertainer. Besides visual comedy, the film also has dialogue comedy. When the banner belongs to Naidu, it is almost like our family film as our entire family always remembers him everyday. I am indebted to him for my present position. Let me recall that I made my debut as director on this banner. I am very happy for bagging a chance to direct one more film on this banner.
