‘Nouka Dubi’, ‘Love Express’ set for May release

NEW DELHI - Filmmaker Subhash Ghai is set to release two of his production ventures “Nouka Dubi” and “Love Express” in May.

Directed by Rituparno Ghosh, “Nouka Dubi” is based on celebrated author and poet Rabindranath Tagore’s famous short story. Made in Bengali and Hindi with Raima Sen, Riya Sen, Prosenjit and Jishu Sengupta, it will release May 6. Well-known lyricist Gulzar is writing the lyrics of the Hindi version of the film.

The second film to release under the banner of Mukta Arts is “Love Express”. Director Sunny Bhambhani has teamed up with Om Puri, Sahil Mehta, Mannat Ravi, Priyam Galav and Vikas Katyal to make the romantic comedy that traces the journey of two parallel love stories in a train full of Baraatis travelling from Amritsar to Mumbai. It will release May 13.

For “Love Express”, Ghai has roped in five technicians from his film school Whistling Woods International. Jaidev has composed music for the movie.
